Brazilian Biodiversity Data
-
Congratulations and welcome to our eResearch Space!
Here, we are providing all information that we have been gathering about Brazilian biodiversity in more than 25 years of fieldwork around the country. Initially, we are making available our efforts to organise a biodiversity database to support fine-resolution conservation planning in the Paranã River Basin, in Brazil. This open-access database will be continuously updated, and permanently hosted at the e-Research Centre at James Cook University, Australia. In the near future, species distribution models of those species and area prioritisation for the Paranã River Basin and others areas of Brazil will be also provided.
Comments and suggestions are welcomed.
We hope you enjoy this initiative.
Cheers!

NQ Regional Creativity and Innovation
-
The research cluster on North Queensland Regional Creativity and Innovation consists of 13 researchers from across the social sciences, urban and regional planning, agriculture and food security, IT, psychology and public health, humanities, and the creative arts, who are employing an experimental methodology centred on co-creation of both research questions and research outputs. In the first instance, this collective of JCU researchers will investigate North Queensland creativity and innovation ecosystems as they pertain to issues such as co-creating regional futures, food production and consumption, and the landscapes/built environments that the region should aspire too.

The AudioVisual Lab offers a unique range
of audiovisual services to the University and wider
community. With expertise developed from various research
situations-–from small-scale community projects, to on-campus
workshops and documentary production—The AudioVisual Lab
provides an array of skills and services necessary for the production
of audiovisual research outputs.
Bringing high quality production values to projects, small and large, we aim
to make audiovisual presentations come alive with clear sound, multiple camera
angles and framing, and dynamic editing.
