Recruitment - more detail on recruitment of nonJCU people - whose group chats, what Facebook page etc
IS - is there a free service that members of the public can access, if so please provide details
Contact for Human Ethics - probably should have international number here, as would be contacting from Singapore
Section 14 lists some exclusion criteria (psychiatric or psychological disorders etc) - but these are not mentioned in the IS or methodology, how will these be screened for?
I'm not really a stats person so can't comment of appropriateness of analysis.
Seems okay to me
REcommend approval

Just wondering why at 14.2 why any disease that impairs vision would be an exclusion- bearing in mind that 90% of Singaporeans require vision correction.
Otherwise I have no objections.

* Start date needs amending
* significantly more information required on recruitment of public - it is not appropriate to just say 'group chats' - we need more information.

Stats are fine
The electronic signature for consent does not seem appropriate - the participant just types their name? There is no way to verify that consent was given.
What type of public forums will be targeted for recruitment? Please provide examples.

The IS more describes the experimental condition than the experiment broadly.
The support information for the public needs to include a free service - is the hotline a freecall and a free service?

NS 1.4 Justice
Please justify exclusion based on vision

NS 2.1 Risk and benefit
Please revise the IS:
add free counselling service for public
add international JCU HREC contact number
add details of video taping
qualify that withdrawal from study is not possible

NS 2.2 Consent
Please clarify the consent process. Provision of an electronic signature alone is not sufficient evidence that all conditions of consent have been met

NS 3.1 Element 2
Please provide more information on:
- recruitment of the public including any promotional materials to be used, public forums targeted, and the recruitment process.
- the screening of participants
- revise the IS to provide more information on the experiment including the videotaping

Additionally the start dates need to be amended.
